When it comes to vacations, my husband and I are infamous for booking last min - I'm talking "want to go to Aruba next week, sure"! And that's exactly how this trip was planned! :)
Day 1. We hopped on a plane and landed in paradise. Unfortunately, there can be downsides to booking impromptu trips and in our case it was hotel choice... But, thanks to a fabulous friend of mine, we landed ourselves in Palm Beach and it was smooth sailing from there on in! Palm Beach is one of the top rated beaches on Trip Advisor and now I know why. It's beautiful! I could float in its calm, clear, blue water all day and I pretty much did! We took rescue at the Marriott Aruba Resort and Casino which is perfectly placed right on the beach along with many other high-rise hotels. We wondered along the beach every night and took in the sites each hotel had to offer!
