Snow on the Ground and Cookies in the Oven

Who wants to leave their cozy, warm house when there is 12 inches of snow on the ground and it's 16 degrees outside?  NOT me!!!  What a great day to bake cookies!

If you want to keep your new year's resolution to eat healthier and still satisfy your sweet tooth, then you need to try this recipe.  It comes from "BabyCakes Covers the Classics".

A few things to take note:

The applesauce was homemade.
2 cups of Bob's Red Mill gluten free flour was used instead of oat flour.
1/2 cup of shredded coconut, 1tsp of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of all spice, and about 1 cup of sliced almonds were added.
Dried cranberries and shredded coconut were used as a topping.

I "helped" make these delicious treats with my bestie, Cristi!  She is a woman with many talents and being an amazing chef is one of them.  She is also the founder of No.2 Creative.com. "A forward-thinking, content-creating, brand-loving firm that champions good old fashioned communications combined with cutting-edge business tactics."  If you're looking to follow your passion this year and start a business or if you want to liven up your brand or company then look no further.  No.2 Creative will take you where you want to go!
